Administration Finalizes New HRA Rule

The Administration has released the final rule on Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs). The final rule will allow employers to use a new individual coverage HRA to provide subsidies for employees to purchase insurance on the individual market.

The final rule will apply for plan years beginning on or after January 1, 2020. The final rule is available here.
